Marica Medici refers to this wine as the "Mercedes of her Wines". The production of Terra Calda is very limited and it is a very special wine because it is made entirely from special selections of old Lambrusco vines. It is dark ruby red with a rich, rosy, creamy froth that is very intense on the nose. It has enveloping flavors on the palate and is just slightly off dry with 11.5% alcohol. This wine has won many international accolades in various European tastings.
